Dreamer's Story...
Check out this cool dog...! This is "Dreamer" - (we think he was named this because he naps a lot ;-) This Big boy had lived with a family but was surrendered. That difficult decision was made when his guardian became ill and unable to care for him any longer. He would do best in a home without small children (due to his size) and, he needs a fenced in yard. Although he naps a lot, he also requires exercise daily. Right now, he goes for a walk or a run morning and night. If you would like to meet this amazing dog, email info@actvrescue.org and arrange to see him in the home of his foster family. He will be adopted in the Twin Cities Metro area only and his adoption fee is $350 plus tax.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dreamer, a Bloomington American Bulldog/English Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/English Mastiff for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a American Bulldog/English Mastiff dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/English Mastiff breeders who help with American Bulldog/English Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
