Gypsy's Story...
Hi! my name is Gypsy and I am looking for a loving forever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. I am being fostered in Brooklyn and my foster family really loves me. They say I love all people - adults and children. I love to snuggle with them on the couch and follow them wherever they go :)). I am also good with dogs and cats and walk well on a leash. I am about 4 years old, about 16 lbs, spayed, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. If you are interested in meeting me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Cant wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Gypsy :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Madison Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Madison, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
