MiMi's Story...
Meet Mimi, she is the typical Min Pin, complete with her LOVE of food, an innate curiosity, and a short attention span! MiMi is a 5 yr old red Min Pin who has been at the shelter way too long. This lovely girl came in as a stray on August 22. For a Min Pin to be in a kennel that long is a crime against the breed. What MiMi needs is a person to love and care for her (by helping her lose those extra 5 pounds), and a family who is familiar with the quirky Min Pin nature. This little girl is rather a social butterfly right now, not showing any one person much favor, but I’m certain she will overflow with love and appreciation towards you once she is out of the shelter environment and into a loving home. (Trust me I know these things. I have 7 Min Pins of my own!)

Come meet MiMi in person at the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 (only one hour south of Charlotte, NC) or call (864) 583-4805 to inquire. This is a family friendly facility with an indoor visitation room as well as an outdoor play area. All the dogs are inside, with air conditioning, and have their own private kennel.

MiMi’s adoption fee is $85 which includes spay surgery, Rabies, Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations, HW testing (MiMi is HW negative), worming, a 24PetWatch microchip, a free follow-up wellness checkup at the shelter's clinic, as well as 1 month of free pet insurance with PetHealth Services, Inc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MiMi, a Inman Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Inman, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Inman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inman paves the way for another one to be saved.
