My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have no idea how Mrs Paws ended up with her leg in an animal trap in the desert, but she was fortunate that someone found her, and took her to AZ Humane Society. When Yavapai Humane found out about her and that she was at risk for euthanasia, they took her. They performed amputation on her rear leg, and treated her for gangrene. She had a slow recovery, but did eventually recover from her ordeal. She was adopted by a person who lived in a second story apartment, and then returned a month later when they realized that she couldn't do stairs very well. You would never know what she has been through though, because she has moved past it. She manages well on her 3 legs, in fact, she's out there walking like she has 4 legs! She has a gentle, kind disposition. She will make an awesome family dog, or to a single person. For her it doesn't matter, she will love you no matter what. She is an awesome dog, and if you come down to meet her, you will see why we are so in love in with her!
