BOGIE's Story...
This is BOGIE and he is a Shepherd/Chow Mix about 2 years old. He is very friendly, a bit of a goof ball but just wants to be with people. Apparently he had never had a collar or leash on and we are working on this. He is just such a loving boy. He tested heart worm positive and is currently under treatment which will take another couple of months, however if you are interested in him, EARS will complete the cost of his treatment with our vet.

If you are interested in meeting Bogie please complete the adoption application at www.earsrescue.org. He is current on shots, neutered and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOGIE, a Odessa German Shepherd Dog/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Chow Chow for sale in Odessa, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Chow Chow breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
