MIKE's Story...
My name is Mike, I am around 7 years old and I weight 4 lbs. My foster mom says I have a kind heart, she likes that I give her lovings. I like to play with other doggies my size. oh but what I really really love is to sleep under the sun, it warms me up because I get cold easily, my foster mom says I look so handsome with a sweater. I know how to walk with a leash because I enjoy my walks, I don't know if I like cats because I really have not been close to one, but I am a good boy and don't hurt anybody. If you are looking for a little companion that is older than a puppy, then you could be looking for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MIKE, a Irvine Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
