Watch out world here comes Maverick! What a strong boy he is and ready to explore the big outdoors. He is a happy boy and is ready for an adventure and you will not be bored with this boy at your side. He is still young and being a strong boy will need a strong person to keep him under control. He loves to go for walks and is still learning how to behave on a leash. He is pretty good until he sees a bunny or bird - so you must have a good hold on him or you might find yourself flying down the street. An easywalk harness is a must with this boy and will make your walks more pleasurable and save on your arms that is for sure. Maverick is a handsome boy and full of life and energy and receives compliments where ever he goes. Short walks will not be enough for this big boy so a person that likes to hike or maybe even a runner would make Maverick happy. Once his energy level has been satisfied you are in for some nice cuddle time. After a nice hike or run Maverick was happy to relax and enjoy a little nap. Here are some comments from our wonderful volunteers when he has been on outings. " He LOVES ice cubes!! He kept bobbing for them and crunching them up! Inside the house, he was curious about everything. He had no fears or issues with kids. He is a smart boy so training him how to be wonderful boy shouldn’t be hard with patience and structure." Maverick weighed 63 pounds when we saved him from the kill list. He is a growing boy and expect him to continue to gain weight.
