Blue's Story...
Blue is a lovable 1.5 year old tuxedo boy with a beautiful black coat and a unique stroke of white right above his mouth and amazing golden eyes. Sadly this sweet guy lost his Brooklyn home during Hurricane Sandy and needs to find a new forever home. He is an affectionate, courageous, and playful kitty who loves to chase his cat dancer. He loves to be around kids and other pets too! You can always hear when he is coming because his PURRR is so loud. He loves head rubs and chin scratches and to sleep right by your side. He is looking for a home where he can grow and be part of a family that will love him. He will be sure to thank you in return.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
