My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brando is an amazing dog, one very hard to give up. He is a young dog but is extremely loveable and gentle. He is friendly with everyone and just a total innocent. He wants nothing more than to please his people and exchange affection. He really loves to be loved! Brando is approximately 1 - 1 1/2 years old and currently weighs approximately 40 lbs.

Here is what else the foster family had to say:

Brando was very unsure when he first came into our home. He appeared frightened and sad. It sure didn't take long however for him to realize that his life had changed for the better. Since that first day he has become the most loving dog you will ever meet!

He is a delightful boy. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. At night he cuddles up with us in bed and you will hear him softly snoring in contentment as he falls asleep. One of the funniest experiences I’ve had with Brando is, sometimes when he sleeps he puts all four legs straight up in the air. It is adorable!

Brando also loves to be tickled on his ear and gently wrestle you. He loves being touched. He will come sit in your lap and use his paw to tell you that he wants a rub, and with how cute he is you can never say no. He also has only barked a couple times when he hears knocking on the door, which is typical for most dogs. He is a pretty quiet dog, which compliments his innocent personality.

Brando loves the outdoors and is very friendly with other pets however; he seems to be intimated by small children. I think he would be fine once he had an opportunity to be around them more and realize that their fast movement and loud voices are nothing to fear. Although he pulls a bit during his walks, its nothing a bit of training couldn't fix. Taking him to the dog park is such a treat because you get to see him run around and enjoy himself. He is really loving life now and enjoys being a part of whatever is going on.

Brando is very familiar with basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and crate; however some reinforcement may be required. He is always ready and willing to do whatever you ask of him. He is intelligent and learns quickly.

It is an amazing feeling to see this dog happy because he deserves it and deserves a happy home to make him feel loved.

If you think Brando would be a perfect addition to your life, please submit an application for consideration.
