Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diesel is a 5 year old Shih Tzu X. He is a happy-go-lucky boy who is amazingly good, smart, eager to learn, housebroken, loving, friendly, gentle, not afraid of anything, settles in quickly, the list goes on and on. He loves his crate at night, but during the day it is definitely not his happy place. He would rather be with his people than be left alone. However, he has wonderful house manners and is very good with being left loose in the house.
Diesel loves going for walks and is getting better on his leash. In the first week that I had him he learned how to sit, play fetch, has greatly improved at waiting at doorways, and is improving on his stay. His recall could use some more practice, but we're working on that!
Diesel likes to learn new things & is very eager to please his people.
He is very good with other dogs and loves to chase and play. Diesel would be a very happy boy to have a doggie buddy to hang out with. He is not a high energy dog. A good walk or two a day, some play time
inside or out and then he's ready for a nap or just hang out with you in the yard or in the house on his dog bed or on the back of the couch looking out the window.
He is about 20 lbs and stands about 12 " at the shoulder. He loves to be brushed which is good because he will need regular grooming.
He has recently had his teeth cleaned and received a good grooming; so he is all cleaned up & feeling pretty good about his new look. Now all he needs is a new home to love him and to continue working on his training so that he can be the best dog ever!
