Dunn's Story...
Dunn is a precious 4 year old Pomeranian. He weighs about 15 pounds and is just beautiful. Dunn comes to Second Chance Dog Rescue from a private home where he was very much loved. A young lady adopted Dunn from her local shelter and they did not tell her that Dunn had some difficult anxiety issues and had been a puppy mill dog. Dunn's new owner tried her very hardest but just couldn't help Dunn get through his issues, so Dunn has come to Second Chance. Dunn has no aggression issues. He will let people near him. He enjoys being with other dogs. Dunn's problems are that he is very nervous. He spent a lot of time in small cages and has developed spinning problems. Dunn will spin in circles oblivious to the outside world. Dunn needs someone who will be patient with him but will help him work through his anxiety. Dunn's new home should have someone with experience with dogs and can be Dunn's pack leader. If you are interested in adopting Dunn, please complete the adoption application at our website at If you have questions, email us at Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dunn, a Prole Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Prole, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Prole.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prole already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prole breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prole paves the way for another one to be saved.
