Dewey *Adopted's Story...
Dewey is a sweetheart of a boy, about 2 yrs old, Akbash with maybe with a Pyrenees mixed in. He has recovered beautifully from very neglectful situation where he was barely fed, lots of sores and scabs; was just skin and bones, but look at this gorgeous, big boy now! Dewey is now at his proper weight, healthy coat, healthy and happy. He gets along great with all other dogs and is cat friendly, actually he loves cats! He is house trained and crated trained. Dewey is very sweet with everyone he meets including kids and looking for his furever home where he'll be well cared for and loved as a family companion and never worry about being neglected again!

Dewey is fully vetted, heart worm and tick born disease tested negative, neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. If you are interested in offering this sweet bear a fur-ever home please complete the adoption application on the GPRO website: www.wix.com/gprofok/gpr

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dewey *Adopted, a Tulsa Akbash/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akbash/Great Pyrenees for sale in Tulsa, or seeking a Akbash/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Tulsa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tulsa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tulsa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akbash/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Akbash/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tulsa paves the way for another one to be saved.
