Little Nacho was surrendered to the shelter when his family moved and could not take him with them. He was scared and confused to find himself there and the shelter staff realized they needed to find him a foster home where he could relax. One of our volunteers stepped in and Nacho is now relaxed and happy in his foster home!



Nacho is about 6-7 years old and weighs in at about 8 pounds. He is an adorable white poodle with a sweet disposition. Poor Nacho was quite frightened when he first arrived at his foster home and was a bit shy for a day or so. Once he realized he was safe and no one was going to hurt him, his fun-loving personality came through! He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in the house and is not the least bit disturbed by the fact that they outweigh him by about 50 lbs! He will run around the yard with them and loves lying on top of them as if they were his own personal bed! Nacho loves playing with toys as well. He will pick up the squeaky toys and happily parade around with them. He also loves chasing the tennis ball and some how manages to get them in his mouth during a game of fetch.



Nacho is shy when first meeting new people and needs to be given some time to feel safe. Once he does he is your best friend! For this reason, we think he'd do best in a without young children. He is already neutered, up to date with vaccinations and heart worm negative. He just needs to find a home to call his very own!
