Diamond's Story...
Arf! Arf! My name is Diamond! I am a sweet little 8 year old Chihuahua mix. My dream home would be a fairly active home that would take me on daily walks. My foster mom takes me on hour long walks everyday and I love it! I am such a lover once I get to know you! I get along really well with other dogs, and cats too! I am such a good girl and never potty in the house! I have had a rough past. My former home was not very good to me. Because of this, I need a little time to warm up to new people and I am not overly fond of small children. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay, bloodwork, vaccinations, and microchipping. Please visit www.softplacetoland.org for an application if you are interested in adopting me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond, a Ft. Collins Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
