Sam's Story...
I can't explain it - but Sam is wonderful!
He has an amazing temperament and a soulful disposition.
He is smart too.
Ok, maybe I can explain it.
Either way someone needs to be Sam's hero!

We got Sam (3-4yrs) on his euthanasia day in Sep, he was poisoned and his stomach was corroded.
Sam is doing wonderful, he is fatty, happy and so lovable.

He loves food and cookies and to roll in the grass.
He is right now in a foster home with another Chihuahua, he is housebroken, leash - and kennel trained

Sam protects his foster mom like a lion.
He thinks every handyman, every kid, every postman is a snake in the grass...
Otherwise he is very mellow in his daily routine with his foster home and he looooves me, so he is not a bad dog at all, he has just a strong character, like a real Chihuahua.

He wants to be someones baby

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Alamogordo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Alamogordo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Alamogordo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamogordo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamogordo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamogordo paves the way for another one to be saved.
