Kiki's Story...
Hi my name is KiKi. I am a Chinese Crested Powderpuff mix. I was rescued from a horrible place in Troy NC. I was frightened, cold, emaciated, matted, and full of ticks and fleas. I was in bad shape. I had lost most of my bottom teeth too. I needed someone to help me and love me. I am gaining weight, I have had a few baths and my mats are gone as well as the ticks and fleas. I am not afraid anymore and I love to play with my foster brothers and sisters. I even love my feline friends. I love humans the best, I will follow you around everywhere you go. My foster Mom calls me her velco dog. Please contact friends4lifek9@aol.com My adoption fee is $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiki, a Apex Chinese Crested/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested/Maltese for sale in Apex, or seeking a Chinese Crested/Maltese dog from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested/Maltese breeders who help with Chinese Crested/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
