Goose's Story...
Wanna play my favorite game?!?!?! It’s dog, dog, goose. You go first! Oh? You don’t know how to play? Well, you see all these other dogs here at the shelter? You go through their pictures and descriptions and tap each one and say dog. Then when you get to me you yell “GOOSE!” and you take me home and we live happily ever after! Sounds too easy huh? Well, I guess there is a little more to it than that… I will need a lot of time, attention, patience and guidance. But with all that we will grow a super special bond like you have never known! Still sound too good to be true? Let me show you how really real I can be! Dog, dog, GOOSE! 9 weeks old-10lbs. My adoption fee is $260 and includes; microchip, neuter rebate, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goose, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
