Kelly's Story...
Seriously? Are you really serious? Do you think I even need to write myself a biography...or Autobiography as you folks call it..? I’ll find a home right away, right? I mean, what person would pass up a lovely little face like mine? I’m sweet as could be! I love other dogs, cats and even gentle kids!  I’m 7 months old and 5 pounds of joy that you can’t even put into words! So, I won't even bother writing myself a bio, I’ll be out of this place and into a loving home in no time, I can just feel it! 7 months old-5lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kelly, a Portland Cairn Terrier/Affenpinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Affenpinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Affenpinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Affenpinscher breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Affenpinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
