Gandolfi's Story...
Hi! My name is Gandolfi! I was found walking down the street with no ID.
The Vet says I am a mix of giant schnauzer, I am a big guy (~80 pounds). I am already vaccinated, dewormed and neutered.
I am very loving too!!! Like to play with my doggy friends but because I am a big guy sometimes I don't know how to be gentle enough; you see I am about 2 or 3 year old, thats what they tell me. I love to play and run and enjoy life but I like to sleep too.
I am not a barker
I don't like taking baths. Yuck!
I like to protect my food, but I have never been aggressive towards anyone.
I currently live outside but with a little training I can be house broken.
One day I will find my forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gandolfi, a San Diego Giant Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Giant Schnauzer for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Giant Schnauzer dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Giant Schnauzer breeders who help with Giant Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
