Zeus's Story...
Sweet old man Zeus is having a blast at his foster home, but we'd love to see him in a forever where he can settle in for his golden years! This guy does great with other animals and is good with kids who understand that he's an older dog who may sometimes need his own space. Despite his advanced age (14 years!), Zeus is in great health! He has a touch of arthritis, a few fatty growths and warts, some old age cataracts and some awful teeth, but his bloodwork all came back clean and Zeus is in great spirits and feeling great, too! Zeus is an easy dog- he is potty trained and sweet and is just as happy to sleep as he is to play- and he does play!! If you've got room in your heart and your home for this sweet guy, email us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a bridgeport Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in bridgeport, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in bridgeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in bridgeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a bridgeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in bridgeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
