Hannah's Story...
Hannah is a sweet 5 month old coonhound mix that was pulled from a rural kill shelter when her time was up. She is a sweet girl who has an amazing personality. Very people and dog friendly, and Hannah does well with cats!
She is housebroken, knowns some basic commands, and is crate trained. Hannah is pretty calm and likes to just sleep next to you on the couch. She is spayed, UTD on shots, HW negative, microchipped, and fully vetted. Her adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hannah, a Lancaster Hound (Unknown Type)/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Coonhound for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Coonhound breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
