Cleo's Story...
Hi, my name is Cleo! I am a very sweet gal! I’m estimated to be about 9 years young. I was a stray and found by some very nice people who turned me over to Love a Golden Rescue. I am housebroken, and get along very well with the dog in my foster home. I love people and especially like to lean up against you. I am very well behaved in my foster home and just really love people! I like to play with toys, and ride very well in the car. I also like nice long walks. I had to have surgery to remove some lumps and bumps and doing well. My records are available if you are interested in me. I am move in ready and looking for a forever home!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo, a St Louis Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in St Louis, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in St Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
