Maggie May's Story...
Maggie May is a 9 month old lab/Great Pyrenees mix puppy that has 9 brothers and sisters. She was saved from an animal shelter where her entire family was to be put to sleep the next day if her wonderful foster mom had not seen them and taken them all home! Now Maggie May and her entire family is looking for new homes!

Maggie May is white with tan spots and rear dewclaws. She is the largest of all the puppies and she is much more active also. She and her siblings have all had all their shots, been dewormed, and have been started on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. They have all been spayed or neutered. She currently weighs about 50 pounds and is expected to be a large dog as an adult. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie May, a Spring Valley Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
