My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Itsy and I am a unique looking (my foster mom says CUTE!) 5 pound Chihuahua/ShihTzu mix. My foster mommy says for a puppy mill dog, she can't believe how well I'm doing in just a few days. I've learned all kinds of new things - like dog beds are really soft and comfy, and so are human laps and couches; good dog food tastes really yummy; stairs aren't so scary and I can go up and down them all by myself; and that the green stuff outside is where I'm supposed to go potties (although I haven't realized I'm not supposed to still use the inside too). I even learned to trust her enough to take treats from her hand! I make sure to give my foster mommy kisses on her nose, because she really seems to like that and she's always doing something so I follow her everywhere to see what it is (this is all new to me!). I have a whole bunch of foster brothers and sisters too - I like them a lot! I still need to see the DR again, when I lived in my old home my one leg was broken and they didn't fix it, so my foster mommy says she's gonna make sure the DR gives me extra attention for it. Although my foster home is really great, I could really use a furever home. I'm tiny, sweet, loving, and would love to have a human's lap to call my very own.
