Akira's Story...
Akira is looking for a good home with lots of fun and love to give! Akira is a 9 year old female that is fairly certain she is 2 years old! She loves to hike, swim, and run! She is an athletic girl that gets
the most fun out of every moment of life and she wants someone who can take her with them on their fun adventures! Seeing as she is mentally more mature, there will be no need to lose a pair of shoes or a couch cushion in the teething process, because she has already been through all that! She is house broken and is up to date on all vaccinations. Her mom had to move to Denver and can’t take her so we are trying to do our best to ensure she will continue a good life in loving care of a great person. Her dislikes are strong minded female dogs and cats. Her likes are any person that walks in her path, most dogs, kids, and any activity! Her adoption fee is $75 and you can visit http://www.softplacetoland.org/dog-adoption-application/ for an application if you are interested in meeting Akira.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Akira, a Ft. Collins American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
