Leo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Leo's Story...
Hi friends, I am an outgoing, bubbly, confident guy just like a born Leo should be! Ok, so I'm not completely sure that I was born in July or August, but I do know that I have the best personality on this side of the Rocky's! I am great with kids, cats, dogs, zebras, hippos, and everyone else. I have no problem snoozing away in the sunshine, or getting out of the house for a ball game or hike in the forest. People tell me that I have an "old man face," which I take as a compliment to mean I seem wise beyond my years - really, I am only 3! Am I the perfect 9 lbs Terrier mix you have been searching for? Then fill out an application at so we can schedule a meet and greet. I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200 and I am currently living in foster care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Portland Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
