My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Chelsea and I am 14 years old. You would never know I am an old lady! I have a little arthritis, but I like to run and carry toys and balls in my mouth. I still have life in me, that’s for sure! I am about 17lbs and I am a shihtzu mix. I am totally potty trained and I like to ride in the car. My favorite thing is to be in someone’s lap. I get kind of jealous of other dogs, though. I am too old to deal with small children, so please keep them away from me! Cats are fun to bother but I don’t like it when they swipe at me. I recently got all of my teeth cleaned and that makes my foster mom happy so when I give her kisses my breath is minty fresh. I also had a hernia in my belly but that got fixed too! I was adopted when I was six years old from a shelter but then when I turned 14, the family I was with took me back to the shelter! Can you believe that? Well, thankfully, St. Martin’s took me in and got me all fixed up and they tell me that I am worth having a family of my own again. I agree! I am spayed, up to date on all vaccines including rabies and microchipped.
