Rocky's Story...
Hi my name is Rocky. I weigh 13 pounds and I am 3 years old. My previous owners had me since I was a baby. But they had a human baby and I did not want to share them with him so, they gave me to my foster Mom. I am completely housetrained, crate trained, I know my commands sit.stay, come and lay down. I now spend my days at a doggie daycare and play and run all day long with all my new friends. I am looking for my FOREVER home with older children and human who will love me. Please contact friends4lifek9@aol.com My adoption fee is $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Apex Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Apex, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
