Ashley - Adopted!!'s Story...
Ashley is a new momma cat that has had her kittens and is now ready to be adopted. She was a stray who found herself in the yard of some friendly rescue folks who took in her and her kittens. She's a bout a year and half old. She seems to get along fine with other cats, just needs time to adjust to them. She is a talker and does like people but takes a moment to warm up. She has been an outside cat so long she just needs time to trust. But she is enjoying inside living.

if you are interested in her, please email the rescue at swohdoberescue@aol.com or call Melissa at (502) 905-5512

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashley - Adopted!!, a New Richmond Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
