AMY's Story...
Meet the cutsey quintuplets. These little guys were born in southern missouri and then taken into rescue to ensure they would be well cared for and loved and not end up another sad statistic in the breeding world. We think they are a maltese and/or shih tzu mix but as all rescue pups we are not sure. There are 2 boys and 3 girls

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AMY, a waterbury Maltese/Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Shih Tzu for sale in waterbury, or seeking a Maltese/Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Maltese/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
