"Bo" Bojangles's Story...
Bo is a loving toy aussie that does not care for young children, older children at the preteen age with more calm activity like loving and petting him are what this little guy loves. He is a velcro toy at 16 lbs and 15 inches tall from the ground to his withers. He has had issues with cats, if they are very out going stalking kind of cats he will be very fearful but if the cats go their own way he will also. He is very much a indoor dog and is house trained with no issues, he does not like to be outdoors very long and will bark at the door until he gets back in to be with the family but if you are outdoors he is right with you. This is a family dog, a companion dog. He is not a yappy dog but a loving and loyal dog. He is 6 yrs old, he had been a stud dog for a breeder for most of his life but had been treated like a loving family member. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped. He is a registered American stock dog. If you have any questions please email or call, if you need a application we are more than happy to send one

Why Adoption is a Great Option

"Bo" Bojangles, a Abilene Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Abilene, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Abilene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Abilene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Abilene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Abilene paves the way for another one to be saved.
