Maxwell's Story...
Max is a gorgeous, affectionate, 11 month-old mix who loves people and other dogs. He's a big, sweet, goofy puppy who currently weighs about 53 pounds. We rescued him from being put down at the city shelter where he had ended up as a stray. He could, of course, use some obedience training, but he has a wonderful disposition and will be a terrific companion. He loves kids and all people and would love a home with another sweet, playful dog to buddy around with. This guy is so handsome and loving!

Maxwell is fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative), and is neutered.
Adoption fee is $150. Come meet this gorgeous fellow today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxwell, a Brooklyn American Staffordshire Terrier/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pointer for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pointer dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Pointer breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
