Ronny's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ronny's Story...
Ronny, is a happy fellow with a wide smile and pretty yellow-gold eyes and a red-brown nose. He is kid friendly and good with other dogs. He is a bit frightened of cats but I am sure he could get use to them. He is about 30 pounds or so. We think he might be a pug/lab mix but that is just a guess at his breed mix. He is being boarded at a vet office in Kentwood, Louisiana. They think he is a young adult dog about a year to a year and a half old. He was found with a collar on but no name tags and his owner could not be located. He was not use to walking on a leash but they are working on that. He is shy and submissive around new people. Ronny is heartworm negative. Ronny will make someone a nice pet! See more and/or larger photos here: Ronny - Google+

Transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home please fill out the adoption form here: Animal Rescue Front Adoption Form

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ronny, a Groton Pug/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Pug/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pug/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
