"Drake" is a handsome young Lab/Weimaraner mix that is 7 1/2 months old. Drake is a sweet boy that only wants to please if just taught some basics in obedience. His sister is Dame that is listed too. Drake weighs about 35 to 36 lbs. and he will grow more. Both are thrilled to be living in the house where they know they have a comfortable place to lay their heads down. They are sister and brother but they do not have to be adopted together.

The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.

After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not meet he/she will be adopted to that home.

Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
