Meet the Boss!
Boss was found on the side of the road in rural East Tennesee along with his 2 brothers and sister. Its hard to say what breed mix he is, but we are guessing a retriever type. He is the largest of the group weighing 23 lbs. His birthday is estimated to be early to mid February 2013. Being 23 lbs at 3-4 months, means he is going to be a big sweet boy. Boss is very smart and is the ringleader of this siblings, hence the name Boss. He has a very handsome face and is the most independent of the group. He is black and fuzzy. Boss's favorite game is to play tug with his brother Baxter. He is very good at going potty outside in the grass!

This pet is being fostered in Knoxville TN. Our orphans are delivered to the northeast every Saturday via USDA certified transport and come fully vetted with health certificates. All adoptions are tax deductible and include transport fees.
If you are interested in one of our orphans or learning more about our adoption process, please email us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boss, a Manchester Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Manchester, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever puppy from a breeder in Manchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
