Baxter's Story...
Meet Baxter!
Baxter is a handsome brindle pup that was found on the side of the road with his 2 brothers and sister in rural East Tennessee. His birthday is estimated to be in early to mid February. He weighs 22 lbs at 3- 4 months months, so will be a big boy, like his siblings! He is the only brindle pup in the litter and obviously had a different dad than his siblings (which is not unusual....a female can breed with up to 5 males for one litter). Baxter is an adventurous boy that loves to play. He is usually the pup that initiates play time, but has no problem plopping down in the grass for a snooze. Everyone that sees him says how pretty he is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baxter, a Chattanooga Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
