Lexi's Story...
Lexi is a beautiful petite 2 year old purebred rottweiler who is very sweet and affectionate. She is very friendly, She is house trained and crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows basic obedience commands. She is currently in foster care with two young boys and she is great with the children. She was slow to warm up to her hyper male pitbull brother at first, but today you could never tell that. They love to play and play!. Lexi had a skin infection when we first found her, but we have had her examined by a vet and who has her on a treatment regimen and she is doing so much better. She has thinning hair on her back but it is starting to fill in now.. She will be spayed very soon, she is up to date on her shots and will be microchipped before adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a Gilbert Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
