DELTA's Story...
This gorgeous girl is named Delta. The name just seemed to fit her. Delta is a beautiful female yellow Labrador retriever mix. She is approx 12 - 14 months old and currently weighs 55 lbs but she should be full grown at this size and weight. Delta will be current on vaccines on June 9 and will be spayed prior to that date. She is currently testing heart worm negative and is on all monthly preventatives. She would be available for transport after June 9.

Delta is just your typical Lab. She never meets a stranger and absolutely loves the water. She really enjoys being outside so she would do well in an active household. She is great walking on her leash so she may even be a good running partner. Delilah is very friendly with people large and small and really good with other dogs. She is a favorite of the kids and doesn't even mind the occasional cat or two. She is absolutely gorgeous and has a wonderful personality to go with it. It would be love at first sight I assure you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DELTA, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
