DIVA/Summer Special Price's Story...
One of the most gorgeous dogs I have ever seen. Her name is DIVA and she is a beautiful black and tan shepherd mix. Diva is approx 12 - 16 months old and currently weighs 40 lbs. She should be at her adult size and weight. She has been started on vaccines and will complete those on June 9. She will be spayed prior to that date and would be ready for transport after June 9. Diva is currently on all monthly preventatives.

Her story is this: the people who owned her and another dog moved. The dogs did not move with them. The dogs were left unattended in the backyard stating that they would return for them once they were settled but made no arrangements for food or water. Our animal control officer was feeding them, but of course, the owners never returned for either dog. Diva is a very sweet and friendly dog, but will need some understanding. She has only lived outside so she is not house broken. She is very active and gets along great with other dogs. We have only had her a short time so we would need to cat test her or kid test her to see how she does. She is a wonderful dog and we hope that someone will open their heart and their home to her soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DIVA/Summer Special Price, a Glastonbury Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
