Blondie's Story...
This young lady is beautiful inside and out. She is about 1 ½ years old. Blondie was dumped with Coby at a high kill shelter in Eastern KY. Blondie was very prego. Blondie was taken in immediately by an Almost Home member, 6 days later she had an emergency c-section. Her and Coby love each other dearly but will do fine apart. Blondie is housebroken and ready to start her new life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blondie, a Hazard Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
