Yankie Doodle Dandy's Story...
Sometimes its a realmystery as to "why" the nicest dog in the kennel goes overlooked for so long.

Maxie is clearly the nicest dog in the kennel. He is a WONDERFUL FAMILY DOG while also being the perfect dog for a single or retired person. It is hard to see a dog with all these wonderful attributes get passed up for another.

Maxie is a darling LITTLE Boy of less than 10 lbs that comes to us from the home of a older couple who had become homeless and were living in their car.. It was a very disturbing situation for all of us. Maxie came with a buddie who we have already placed so he does like little dogs. He is so cute when he bpunces across the house playing with the smaller dogs. He is wonderfully housebroken and loves to snuggle on the couch as well as take walks, He plays very nice at the dog park,

He is a very sweet dog of approximately 2 years old and he has been here for about 6 months. Maxie is very obedient in coming to his name when called.

He has been neutered and is current on all his shots including Rabies. We provide all of his shot records.

Please call us for an appointment to meet Maxie at your convenience. Our 24/7 phone contact is 951-490-3514

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yankie Doodle Dandy, a Riverside Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Riverside, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Riverside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Riverside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Riverside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Riverside paves the way for another one to be saved.
