Mannie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mannie's Story...
Manny is such a great dog! Sweet, mild tempered, gets along with most other doggies, affectionate, only a year and half old. Still no one has stepped up to adopt him. He is waiting patiently in a no-kill shelter for someone to come adopt him however he is becomming depressed as the days go by and no one comes. Manny is not food or toy aggressive. He has no handling issues. He seems to be housebroken but we can't say for sure because he was found in the rain wandering the streets. However he doesn't go in his cage and takes care of his business rather quickly when he goes outside. Manny only weighs about 45 lbs and would do fine in an apt with adequate exercise. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. To adopt this great dog or set up an appointment to meet him please download our application from www.bobbicares.petfinder.org and email it to Bobbicares2@aol.com Thank you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mannie, a Freeport German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Freeport, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
