My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riley, a sweet, sweet lovable boy who is 8 years young came into Rescue as a product of divorce. Riley's family notified his vet that the were forced to put him into a shelter because of their current situation where Riley would have had 3 days at the very best. A strong network or Golden people heard about Riley and contacted his now wonderful foster Momma who called rescue and asked for help. Who could resist this boy?....Not us!

Foster momma Jill, can't say enough good things about this happy boy! He lives with three other goldens who are much younger than Riley, and he has no problem keeping up with them! He also lives with a senior blind Pomeranian as well as the house cat, who he also does well with! Riley is a big boy who weighs in at 92 pounds. It might better him to take off a few pounds, but, he is a big boy. Riley is on medication for seizures, although he hasn't had one in close to 4 years, so please don't let that scare you away! His seizures are completely under control with his medications. He is neutered, UTD on all routine shots, is heart worm negative and will make an awesome family pet!! He is ready to find a family who will love him till the end!

If you think you might like to have Riley become part of YOUR family, please contact Rescue and ask for an application. Email: info@orangecountybarkers.com or give us a call @ (845) 597-4043.
