Zack's Story...
Zachariah (Zack), his brother Wellington (adopted), and his sister Mariah (adopted) are 7 year-old Domestic Shorthair siblings whose owner recently passed away. Although they were raised together, they are not bonded and may be adopted separately. All are FIV/FELV negative.

Zack’s deep green eyes are brilliant against his solid smoky coat. He’s quiet but affectionate, responding with a quiet meow to his name. He and his siblings lived with other cats and spent time with children, but he has no experience with dogs.

Zack is a true lap cat. He’ll happily spend his time with you and crawl into your bed at night. He is very curious about people activities and will be an excellent companion for his new owner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zack, a Gilbert Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
