My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rosie the Mexican Mutt..!

Rosie has a very sweet story... she was found in Mexico when a family was vacationing and they brought her back to California.

One evening a nice couple was walking to dinner in Rosarita Mexico. They heard some noises coming from an open area filled with garbage. They started walking towards the garbage and soon realized that there was a little puppy in a crate by the bin. Naturally the woman immediately fell in love and begged the man not to leave the poor innocent pup there in the dark. Well, the man, as nice as he is, said no. They were in Mexico on vacation and this was a hassle he didn't want to sign up for. They continued on their way to dinner. After dinner, the gentleman excused himself to go the restroom, but he actually went back to the area to see if the pup was still there...Indeed she was... ! He scooped her up and took her back to the nice lady. They finished their vacation in Mexico with the puppy in tow and brought her back to California. As much as they would love to keep her, it just isn't feasible at this time as they travel quite a bit, so now Rosie is up for adoption.

Rosie is approximately 13 weeks old. She is a typical "mexican mutt"....Most likely a shepard mix. As of October 4th, she weighed about 10 pounds. She has been to the Vet for a check up and is up to date on her shots and has been treated for fleas, mites and worms.

She is very loving, working on her house-training and gets along exceptionally well with other dogs...Even the BIG dog she is currently living with.

Rosie is located in San Diego, CA.
