My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful blond girl is Amy. Just look at that sweet face. Amy is a 2 year old lab mix and is on the smaller side at about 50 lbs and is a medium energy, mild mannered girl. Amy is a true sweetheart and loves everyone she meets although she is shy at first. She does love her people and gets along great with other dogs and would probably be good with the kitties. Like all young girls, she loves to run and play with her foster siblings playing ’tug o war’ and ‘catch me if you can’. Amy especially likes it when she gets hugs and good girl praise from her people and she takes those yummy treats like a lady. She loves to go for walks and does pretty well on the leash. She would make a great companion for anyone who likes to take nice long walks and just hang out being best friends. Amy is looking for a home that would help her work on building self confidence and becoming a confident and well rounded little girl. She has been well socialized with men, women and older children. Amy is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. She is also on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Amy is crate trained and house trained. She is a truly awesome and beautiful girl and if you think she might be a good fit for your family, please indicate Amy in the notes section of the online application.
