Jenna's Story...
Jenna is a 5 year old pit bull terrier mix. She is a very cuddly and affectionate dog. She loves to snuggle and loves to sneak in to her foster parent’s bed at night :)
Jenna was kept chained up outside for the first year of her life and that has left her with some leash reactivity issues. Jenna does live in foster care with other dogs but she requires very slow introductions. The dogs she lives with now are older and are calm/submissive. Jenna’s ideal home would be a calm one in a quiet neighborhood. Jenna has allergies that she takes a daily antihistamine for. She also has incontinence that she takes daily medication for. This medication completely resolves her incontinence but she will need to always be on it. Jenna is housebroken, crate trained and non-destructive in the house. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenna, a Rexford American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Rexford, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Rexford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rexford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rexford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rexford paves the way for another one to be saved.
