Chaplin's Story...
My name is Chaplin. I am one lucky little fellow because I was a stray outside and taken to a kill shelter. Fortunately for me, Feral Cat Rescue pulled me from the shelter and Diane is fostering me. I have a new friend named Richie who was abandoned with his mom and siblings and rescued by FCR as well. I just got some new toys today and I have been having so much fun. I love to be petted. I am a purr boy and I love to sleep with my foster mom and snuggle against her. I cost $125 and am fully vetted which includes all 3 of my distemper vaccines at ages 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks. I am neutered, microchipped, de-wormed, and vaccinated against rabies. I was also combo tested for aids and feline leukemia and I tested negative which is a good thing ;)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaplin, a Great Mills Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
