Other: Hi! My name is Kennedy and I'm a young girl, who just sent five of her beautiful kittens off into the world. I was a great mother and now am looking forward to being young and free again! I'm so appreciative to be off the streets that I purr immediately when approached by my foster mom and shake my tail in excitement. I'm a sweet girl, just like my cat foster sister, so we are getting along great and I'm doing a good job respecting the fact that I'm living in her home. I also get along well with my dog foster sister, who is a small, middle aged dog and on the calmer side, and she's a perfect fit for me. Sometimes I give her an affectionate head rub and when she does bark a lot, I can handle that and stay pretty calm. For fun, I LOVE to play with my cat nip toys! I'm a fast learner and doing a great job learning to use my Ultimate Scratching Post-which I also love! I definitely prefer to be in the company of others and sometimes even curl up next to my person for a while. My foster mom had to give me medicine after my spay surgery and although I was nervous about this I was cooperative. I'm also cooperative with nail trims and get more comfortable with those each time we trim them. I'm neat and well behaved and know that if you pick me to spend forever with, you won't be disappointed!
Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Kennedy's adoption fee is $125 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
