Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It's hard to imagine this truly beautiful (inside & out) Schnoodle wandering the streets of Tulsa..so cold and skinny. A compassionate passer-by took Lewis in and nursed him back to health...and now he's ready for his forever home! Farfel's Rescue agreed that Lewis deserves only the best after what his life has been and agreed to participate in his rescue. This is the description of Lewis by his foster mom: "Lewis can initially be vocal with strangers, but is so happy to meet new people, he quiets down very quickly . He talks to me in the morning if he thinks I've forgotten him in his crate (so excited to start his day)!. He loves to run and play outside for a few minutes at a time and then is ready to chill on the couch. He loves to snuggle, be petted and doesn't mind grooming. His fine and cotton-like hair will require combing...a periodic grooming would be perfect to keep his coat as beautiful as it can be. He doesn't seem to shed at all. He is fine with other dogs but appears to do better with dogs larger than he is. He does surprisingly well with cats - if they run, he gives fun-spirited chase but is not aggressive. My cat has sniffed him and laid near him time and time again with only mild interest from Lewis. Lewis is great with me and my teens!! I haven't seen him around smaller kids. so that's an unknown. He's fine with my mom, but might be a bit bouncy for a senior. I think Lewis is a Schnoodle, maybe 1.5- 2 yrs old and about 25 lbs in weight. Lewis is a truly smart boy - true to his breeds!! He's adjusted to the crate at night and has learned 'sit'. He's very responsive to 'no' and is learning 'up' to get in the car. What a gem of a dog for an active family!!" We're very excited to participate in finding this special guy his forever family. Lewis will be transported to Denver on 6/1. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional family companion.
